Funded by the Nordic Council of Ministers and administered by NORLA for Norwegian originals: translation of fiction for children, young people and adults, poetry, drama, essays and Nordic-focused non-fiction from Norwegian into another Nordic language. Open to active publishers in the Nordic region (and professional theatres for drama). Priority for poetry, drama, children's and YA literature, Nordic Council Literature Prize winners and the smaller Nordic language regions. The sister schemes for Danish, Swedish, Finnish, Icelandic, Faroese, Greenlandic and Sami originals run through the respective national literature offices.
